Yesterday was a good mix of lazy and active, which was just what we needed since our last couple days off were jam packed. Once in awhile, It´s nice to have absolutely nothing to do 🙂 We used to spend days like this in Chicago too, just kind of wandering around and checking out new to us places- it’s the best!
We slept in until about 7:30, and took Maya on a walk to go and try a new coffee spot (Cafe Boheme)
I stopped by Dunkin Donuts to grab an edible birthday gift for one of my employees. The nice guy at DD gave me some free artwork on the box 🙂
We toured a space for a possible project (look at that door)!
Since ice cream is always a good idea, we grabbed some (Strawberry Cheesecake) and sat in the park to hangout/people watch
And then we decided to walk towards the market to check out some ruins we hadn’t been to (San Jeronimo)
Maya volunteered for an impromptu photo shoot
Christopher is a sucker for Jocotes, so we bought a huge bag from these nice ladies (which I totally forgot are still in my purse)
By this time we were hungry, so we went to a new-to-me restaurant called Chermol. A Sangria/Lemonade hybrid was promptly ordered
We shared a variety of empanadas (the corn and cheese was the best)
And since every lazy day must include, Netflix, we went home to watch 1,000 episodes of Billions…sooo addicting and fun to see how the other half lives!
How do you like to spend your days off?
