Hi! Sorry for the blog silence…this happened on Tuesday, courtesy of the one and only Maya Obrist.
I’m using a charger at the hotel until I can get a new one, so I get to enjoy this beautiful “office” for a couple of days 🙂
With no computer and no blog this week, I’ve been making some decisions to get myself where I want to be in Antigua. Career-wise, I’m feeling a bit lost here lately, but have been working towards a new project that will hopefully fulfill what’s missing. More on that later! And when in doubt (since I have no idea what I’m doing), this quote always brings me back to the right state of mind.
We went to Caoba Farms this week for a late lunch, and I don’t know why we’ve waited so long to eat there. HANDS DOWN- the best sandwich/salad in Antigua. They get it, they know what they’re doing, and I will happily pay a bit more for some quality food (most of which is grown on-site).

We made (a very random) dinner one night with friends (arancini, pupusas, and kale salad). Feeling super thankful to be surrounded with such wonderful people here 🙂
We’ve taken a ton of long walks, which I’m thrilled about since it’s been a long three weeks of barely any activity, in an attempt to heal my back 🙁 Here’s the volcano looking oh so pretty
We’re headed to the beach for Christopher’s day off this week to spend some time in the sun 🙂 It’s nice to be a bit removed from what’s happening in the USA right now, but I was so, so, proud of the peaceful marches that took place yesterday around the world.
