I have a Pinterest board called “Shopping Now”, where I save everything I find online that I want to buy. I obviously don’t end up buying all of it, but I do reference it when I go to the mall so that I remember what to look for, or when I’m shopping online a couple of months later and want to see if any of it has gone on sale. I even pin items that are out of my price range, not to buy, but to find look-a-likes for a much cheaper price.
Since moving to Antigua, I don’t shop a lot, but when I do, I make sure to buy quality products that I need (relatively speaking), and that will last me a long time since products aren’t as readily available here.
*If I was including plane tickets, my best buy (by far) would be our trip to Japan & Thailand last April. Spending money on experiences is worth far more than material goods.*
I have these in the tan nubuck and black colors, and they’re the most flattering heels I own. Since I’m 5’10”, I don’t need the extra height but it’s nice to wear heels once in a while, especially comfortable ones. Bonus? They look just as cute with cropped jeans as they do with a long dress. These might be my BEST buy!
I don’t like when my socks show when I’m wearing sneakers; it’s a huge pet peeve of mine, but I also don’t like the no-show socks that are made for flat shoes since they always slip off my heel. I was in the sock department at Nordstrom last time I was in Chicago, when a salesperson directed me to these. They come up higher on the top of your foot, so there’s less chance of slippage, and they’re comfortable and durable. SOLD.
I have this in the SC-02 shade, and I love it because you can mix the colors together to create a perfect match for your skin. It blends easily into my skin, and completely gets rid of any dark circles without being cakey. There’s a reason this one is a favorite among makeup artists!
I’ve wanted one of these for years, and finally got it for Christmas 🙂 It makes the perfect waffles, doesn’t take space up on your counter, and will last forever.
Gone are the days of my phone dying midday, without a charger in sight (a huge problem in Antigua). I got this for Christmas, and keep it fully charged and in my purse for those low battery situations. Lifesaver!
These are the most flattering sunglasses I’ve ever worn (a close second would be the classic Ray Ban Aviator), they’re less than $100, and they’re polarized. With free shipping and returns, you can’t go wrong!
I always have a pair of these earrings on. They go with everything, and are pretty good fakes for the real thing (everyone always thinks they’re real). At $10, they’re a great buy for pretty and classic jewelry you can wear everyday!
