Last night, we made dinner and ate while watching the debate (finally found a way to stream it live). I was surprised to hear the reporters say that there are still a lot of undecided voters since I don’t think I know anyone who doesn’t know who they’re going to vote for. I actually already voted with my absentee ballot and am anxiously awaiting for 11/8 to see what’s going to happen 🙂 You can fact check the debate, here!
I made shrimp pasta with a vodka cream sauce for dinner (recipe coming soon)!
This morning, we went for a run and then did a quick boot camp workout while Maya played on my yoga mat 🙂
I don’t know about you, but I’m always hunting for unique pieces for our house, (house tour coming soon!), which led me to stumble upon Urban Outfitters when my sister was working at Anthropologie (they belong to the same parent company). They have a huge inventory of home decor that’s very similar to West Elm, Anthropologie, or CB2, but at half the price (I especially love the art)! It’s a great store for people in their 20’s and 30’s who don’t want to go to Ikea but can’t justify spending thousands on decor.
My current favorites are below, but you can see their entire collection here.
Hexagon Side Table: I bought this to use as a nightstand in our Chicago apartment; it was so pretty and functional (and not bulky)!
Speckled Dip Bowl: perfect for pastas or soup!
Tina Crespo Salt Water Cure Art Print: this would be so pretty above a bed
Rose Gold Love Balloon: A cute prop for an engagement shoot or a bridal shower!
*If you’re hunting for the perfect, eclectic rug, look no further than Ebay. I especially love the Moroccan rugs, here.
